Surah Al Fatihah

1. بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

   Bismillāhir-raḥmānir-raḥīm(i).

   In the Name of Allah—the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful.

2. اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعٰلَمِيْنَۙ

   Al-ḥamdu lillāhi rabbil-‘ālamīn(a).

   All praise is for Allah—Lord of all worlds,

3. الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِۙ

   Ar-raḥmānir-raḥīm(i).

   the Most Compassionate, Most Merciful,

4. مٰلِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّيْنِۗ

   Māliki yaumid-dīn(i).

   Master of the Day of Judgment.

5. اِيَّاكَ نَعْبُدُ وَاِيَّاكَ نَسْتَعِيْنُۗ

   Iyyāka na‘budu wa iyyāka nasta‘īn(u),

   You ˹alone˺ we worship and You ˹alone˺ we ask for help.

6. اِهْدِنَا الصِّرَاطَ الْمُسْتَقِيْمَۙ

   Ihdinaṣ-ṣirāṭal-mustaqīm(a).

   Guide us along the Straight Path,

7. صِرَاطَ الَّذِيْنَ اَنْعَمْتَ عَلَيْهِمْ ەۙ غَيْرِ الْمَغْضُوْبِ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلَا الضَّاۤلِّيْنَ ࣖ

   Ṣirāṭal-lażīna an‘amta ‘alaihim, gairil-magḍūbi ‘alaihim wa laḍ-ḍāllīn(a).

   the Path of those You have blessed—not those You are displeased with, or those who are astray.
