Surah Al Qadr

بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

1. اِنَّآ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ فِيْ لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

   Innā anzalnāhu fī lailatil-qadr(i).

   Indeed, ˹It is˺ We ˹Who˺ sent this ˹Quran˺ down on the Night of Glory.

2. وَمَآ اَدْرٰىكَ مَا لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِۗ

   Wa mā adrāka mā lailatul-qadr(i).

   And what will make you realize what the Night of Glory is?

3. لَيْلَةُ الْقَدْرِ ەۙ خَيْرٌ مِّنْ اَلْفِ شَهْرٍۗ

   Lailatul-qadri khairum min alfi syahr(in).

   The Night of Glory is better than a thousand months.

4. تَنَزَّلُ الْمَلٰۤىِٕكَةُ وَالرُّوْحُ فِيْهَا بِاِذْنِ رَبِّهِمْۚ مِنْ كُلِّ اَمْرٍۛ

   Tanazzalul-malā'ikatu war rūḥu fīhā bi'iżni rabbihim min kulli amr(in).

   That night the angels and the ˹holy˺ spirit descend, by the permission of their Lord, for every ˹decreed˺ matter.

5. سَلٰمٌ ۛهِيَ حَتّٰى مَطْلَعِ الْفَجْرِ ࣖ

   Salāmun hiya ḥattā maṭla‘il-fajr(i).

   It is all peace until the break of dawn.
